Data and workbook files

Discovering Statistics Using IBM SPSS Statistics (6th edition) contains more data files than any well-adjusted person could wish for. This is the place to find them. Download the files, and work through the examples in IBM SPSS Statistics in the book. You can also watch Oditi’s Lantern if you want some visual company while you do it.

The files will be downloaded as zip files.

• Data files: This links to a zip file containing all of the IBM SPSS Statistics data files (.sav format) for the entire book. You need these to work through the examples in each Chapter.
• IBM SPSS Statistics workbook files: This links to a zip file containing all of the IBM SPSS Statistics workbook files (.spwb format) for the entire book. These include a workbook file for each Chapter that discusses SPSS that contains the syntax to run all of the analyses in that Chapter, and additional files mentioned in various chapters for doing analyses that can be run only using syntax (such as fitting robust models using R).
